Georgia Foreclosure Listings
The state of Georgia offers, as it’s largest cities, Atlanta, Augusta and Alpharetta. The state gives us Lake Lanier as the biggest body of water in the state. It is man made and was built by the Army Corps of Engineers. This lake is a huge source of income and provides many jobs to people in and around the area. Not to mention the fact that the tourism it provides brings many dollars into the region around the lake. The dam also generates most of the electricity needed for the area.
There are flat swampy areas to the south towards Florida and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the north where you can still mine and pan for gold. The east side of the state offers Tybee Island and Savannah. The entire state is in deep tradition of the civil war as part of Sherman’s march to the sea, which laid waste too much of the state.
You can find everything from theme parks like Six Flags over Georgia to the world’s busiest airport called Hartsfield Jackson. It is also the place where you can visit the Martin Luther King Memorial and the site of the 1996 World Olympics.
In short, if you can’t fins something to do that you will enjoy in the state of Georgia, then you may not have anything that you truly enjoy doing.
Georgia foreclosure listings usually take about 90 full days to do. Once a property has fallen into the foreclosure system and the proper notifications have been posted, the sale is set and will be held as a public auction, which is located at the courthouse or some other place as designated in the sales notice of the county of record.
The sales shall commence and be held between the hours of 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. However if this date falls on either January 1 or July 4 then the sale will take place the following day and while the defaulted owner has the right to redeem the property the lending institution also has the right to file for a deficiency judgments against them.
